The new naviflash 1040(i) is an all-in-one navigation system and Bluetooth hands-free car kit. The successor to naviflash talk doesn't only unify hands-free and navigation in a single device, it also offers flexible mounting possibilities. The universal connection box allows the choice of either plug & play operation or fixed installation. The mobile telephone can be connected in a matter of seconds via Bluetooth. Installing a cradle is not necessary.
Mobile, safe telephone calls…
Thanks to the steering wheel remote control, the most important functions like dialling phone numbers, searching your phone book, or repeat dialling can all be comfortably and safely completed from your steering wheel. The illuminated keypad, which includes a light sensor, also adjusts automatically to the level of light. The telephone numbers, names previously stored in your mobile phone and previous calls are all shown on the display. Numbers can be dialled from the telephone book or via the mobile phone’s own voice tags*. The device can link up with one mobile phone, but is able to save the signatures of up to 10 mobile phones. This is particularly useful if a vehicle is used by several different drivers all of whom have their own phones.
... and navigation
It’s possible to change from the telephone to the navigation mode at any time at the touch of a button. The destination can be entered comfortably via the steering wheel remote control, from where it is also possible to comfortably control all of the other functions. The voice announcement is automatically muted in the event of an incoming call. A pinpointed route guidance system is also guaranteed during the telephone conversation via the display.
Avoid jams
The naviflash 1040(i) receives the current traffic jam and accident alerts from the airwaves for free via TMC antenna and takes them into account automatically during the route selection. The TMC antenna is attractively integrated and omits an annoying tangle of cables on the front windscreen.
Flexible mounting
Thanks to the flexible connection box, the navigation system can be installed either as a plug & play system with its power supply from the cigarette lighter, or as a fixed installation. The microphone can be attached either to the monitor or the connection box. Those who want to use the naviflash 1040(i) in differing vehicles are best served by the TMC flexative arm. The TMC adhesive mount is recommended for fixed installation.
