Awarded the Plus X Award for the third time in a row
Again in 2007, naviflash succeeded in receiving prizes for its quality products at the Plus X Award in the product groups of telecommunication and car entertainment. On 24th May in the Congress-Centrum Nord of the Cologne exhibition centre, several products were awarded the prize for user comfort. naviflash 1060i and naviflash 1020i, the navigation system from BURY, yet received two awards: for user comfort and innovation.
The Plus X Award is awarded annually to outstanding technical products from entertainment electronics, telecommunications, the IT sector, car entertainment and living and household electronics. Domestic and foreign manufacturers, whose products are manufactured in an industrial production process and distributed through a distribution structure in Germany or other EU countries, can take part. Products, which receive the Plus X Award, are proven to stand out by quality which can only be offered by brand products – innovation, sophisticated design, high user comfort and ecological production and function processes. These are also the four categories which are awarded. Expert trade journalists and high-quality market personalities decide which product is honoured and in which category during a strict process lasting several days. For end consumers, this means that they can be sure of buying the highest brand quality when they choose a product that has a Plus X Award logo.
The honoured BURY products
From the many hundreds of submitted products, three BURY products were all awarded with the Plus X Award.
The mobile navigation systems, naviflash 1020i and 1060i, were both awarded the prize for user comfort. naviflash 1060i, which is also a digital TV, also received the award for innovation. Both devices are installed without needing tools in no time at all and fitted with a 4 GB CF card, on which detailed Tele Atlas map material for 28 European countries has been pre-installed. The route is shown clearly and precisely on the 3.5 inch colour display. Both GPS navigation systems find the quickest way to your destination, not least because of the in-built traffic jam by-pass, the so-called TMC. Thanks to the mobility pack, which represents network-independent power supply and exceeds the average battery performance, navigation outside of the vehicle is also possible. With the 1060i in combination with the mobility pack, you can watch digital television wherever you want. BURY Technologies is proud of these estimable awards of its products.
