Can I enter other average speeds for the evaluation of the journey time

Unfortunately, the average speeds for the evaluation of the journey time cannot presently be individually entered by you. Our technical team is working on the realisation of such a function.

On certain roads such as motorways, however, the average speeds set in the factory approximately correspond with the measured average journey values. For this reason, the journey time stated by the navigation system will only deviate from the actual time under particularly difficult traffic situations.

In general, the traffic jams displayed by the TMC cannot be included in the journey time in the run up, as it is possible that the driver may take a diversion suggested either by the system, or one selected manually. If this occurs, the navigation evaluates a new journey time and hence a new time of arrival.
