Do I have to do anything with my naviflash
if I want to navigate outside of Germany?

1. If your naviflash is equipped with a 4 GB CF card, you don’t have to change anything on either the device or the map material. You simply enter your route as normal. Please ensure, however, that you don’t select Germany as the country of destination.

2. If your naviflash is equipped with a 1 GB CF card, and the original factory settings on the map material haven’t been changed, if you want to drive in Switzerland, the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Luxemburg or Liechtenstein, you don’t need to change anything either.

3. If your naviflash isn’t equipped with a 1 GB CF card and you would like to drive in countries other than those listed above, please install the map material package pertaining to the country of destination from your DVD onto the CF card. If, for example, you want to drive to Spain, install the map material package with Spain. There's no need to worry about Germany not being included in this map package. All of the packages include the so-called MRE roads (Major Roads of Europe), which are sufficient if you only want to drive through a particular country.
