My naviflash won’t switch on.

1. Ensure that the cigarette lighter plug is inserted in the cigarette lighter correctly.
 
2. The cigarette lighter has to be supplied with electricity. Your car ignition has to be on.
 
3. Please make sure that the monitor of the unit is correctly fixed to the holder. The best thing to do is to take the monitor off and to put it back on the holder so you hear it snap into place. Take care snapping it in place without resistance; otherwise the monitor won’t be in the right position.
 
4. Press the ON /OFF key which is situated on the top left hand side of the casing. 
 
5. If the device has been subjected to extreme temperatures, e.g. excessive heat due to direct sunlight, faults may result. If this has occurred, store the device at normal room temperature for a few hours before trying to switch it back on again later.
 
6. If you use a mobile electricity supply for your naviflash – the Mobility Pack – please check that the rechargeable batteries are fully loaded. If the batteries are full, put the naviflash device on its usual holder and connect it with the cigarette lighter. Your car ignition should also be on.
 
7. If available, try out your device on another naviflash holder. If it works then you will know there’s a fault with your holder.
