1. In order to be able to operate your naviflash device with the infra-red remote control, it’s important to point the remote control towards the naviflash monitor. A 5 cm angle doesn’t matter. Ensuring the remote control isn’t pointing in completely the wrong way is important though.
2. Irrespective of whether you use the infra-red or the steering wheel remote control, please check the batteries. Empty batteries are by far the most frequent reason why a remote control doesn’t work.
3. If the steering wheel remote control isn’t working, then it may have to be 'paired' with the navigation system again. To do this, switch the system on and press down keys 3 and 7 at the same time. Only let go of the keys when the menu navigation appears on the screen. Now you can operate the system with the remote control. If not, then please repeat the pairing procedure.
